After a long drive, we were all so happy to arrive in Ohio and do the things we'd been looking forward to doing for MONTHS...
Remember these? Grandma has one! Boing! Boing!
Hopscotch on the front walk.
Hailey tore into the front yard to show Keelyn her "favorite tree".
(Pictures from the last time we had a favorite tree photo shoot
here (about 3/4 of the way down my first post ever...Hailey is wearing a pink sweater...some of my favorites I've ever taken of her)...
Anyway, this year at the favorite tree...

And the reason we chose last week to go was because my cousin and his wife just had a baby a few months ago, and they were visiting my aunt and uncle in Columbus...so we got to meet baby Caddis, who is as precious as babies can be.

Caddis' Grandma and Grandpa (my aunt and uncle) had a book party for her on Friday night, where we roasted hot dogs in the fire pit...

...Hailey thoroughly enjoyed hers. Keelyn walked around the whole time with an empty bun she was eating, telling people it was a hot dog. So cute.

And then we made S'mores.

Rainy weather meant lots of time to play inside with Grandma...

...lay on the ottoman to watch the OSU game...

...help babysit Caddis...

...and attempt to take pictures with her.

Also, on our last evening, Keelyn braved the horse.

And we did manage a photo of all three great-granddaughters with their great-grandma.

Final photo-ops before leaving proved difficult as Keelyn wouldn't allow me to put her down...I'm pretty sure she thought I was gonna leave her with the crazy Ohio folks and head on back to North Carolina without her. So here's Grandma in stitches over the attempt, Keelyn climbing down her leg while screaming for me, and Hailey terrified because Bob is also taking pictures with his very scary camera (as all cameras are when they are not held by me, thankyouverymuch).

And finally, after bribing them with monkeys and literally taking about 30 pictures in this pose, we got some cute ones of my girls with their great-grandma, whom they simply call "Grandma" because that's who she is!

Great pictures! I really wish I could have been there to see everyone! Glad you had a fun trip.
What great pictures. Love the last one with "Grandma" and the ones by the tree!
