So some sharp pains and short breaths on Tuesday, combined with a racing heart and extreme fatigue on Wednesday, led me to a doctor's appointment and chest x-ray yesterday. Though I have none of the very bad things that can cause it, I still seem to have pleurisy. So, bless their little hearts, my babies have had to entertain one tired mama this week. And they're just so cute and helpful.
Like today, the phone rang, and Hailey ran as fast as she could to grab it from the table to answer it for me. I mean she tore out of the living room to get it. But. On the way, she suddenly needed a drink of water...which she stopped for. Then she brought me the phone, confused about why no one was there. Tricky callers we have. She must have been really thirsty.
And Keelyn brought me every single book in our living room to read on the chair together. I never had to get up. The girls just sat and listened to stories, and read them to each other when mommy got out of breath.
You'd think I just ran a marathon. But I don't think I could even run to the mailbox.
And I'm not that pathetic. I mean, as long as I sleep during nap time, and again from the time we have dinner until the time we kiss the kids goodnight, I at least have enough energy to write this post. Do you know how much energy it takes to write a blog post? Seriously people, I am ded.i.cated. I'm also done, and going back to bed. I have to run at the Little Gym tomorrow, which requires way more distance than a trip to the mailbox. The Little Gym! Where we climb on things and laugh and sing. Where my cutest of the cutest likes to walk on the beam!, and climb through the donut!, and run and hide! So, back to bed.
For now, enjoy my beautiful children.
